Knowledge Management

Got this book as part of my Master's course on Knowledge Management. This has a more academic feel to it which is necessary since there is a fair amount of research work that needs to be done when implementing a knowledge management project. Among the important topics are explicit and tacit knowledge and the use of data mining techniques. And plenty of diagrams to explain the flow and relationship between knowledge objects. Very good also for analysts that are starting out to identify the requirements of a knowledge management application. However there is no mention of knowledge audit and community of practice which makes it less useful for the practitioner.
